The Mostra de Vins 2011 awards BodegasXalo’s wines

The Xalo Cooperative was awarded twice for their wines at the Mostra de Vins, Caves, Licors i Aliments Tradicionals de la Comunitat Valenciana, which was held at the beginning of the month in Valencia.

This year the competition included the presence of more than 50 wine cellars from the three Guarantee of Quality and Origin areas within the Community, which each year increases demand as well as the difficulty in receiving an award.

Those awarded this year were the Mistela Vall de Xaló made with Muscat grapes which was awarded 1st place in the sweet wines category, and the Malvarrosa Rosé which received 2nd place in the rosé category.

Awarding the prizes was the Valencia Regions Agricultural Councillor, Mrs Maritina Hernandez.

All of these awards guarantee the quality of BodegasXalo’s wines.
